The National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions military discount is 5% off the cruise fare on every voyage — Galápagos, Antarctica, Alaska, the Arctic, Baja California, Europe and beyond, across the entire expedition fleet. Lindblad Expeditions does not offer a military rate of its own, so Military Cruise Deals provides it, and it comes off after Lindblad’s current promotions. Active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses, and friends and family in other cabins all qualify.

How Much Is the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Military Discount?
Our discount is 5% off the cruise fare on every National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions voyage — no exceptions, no blackout sailings.
Because Lindblad expeditions include so much — excursions, expert guides, meals and drinks — 5% adds up fast.
| Lindblad expedition | Typical fare per guest | Your 5% discount | Savings for two |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8-day Baja California (Sea of Cortez) | ~$5,200 | ~$260 | ~$520 |
| 8-day Alaska’s Inside Passage | ~$6,000 | ~$300 | ~$600 |

Fares are Lindblad’s published “starting from” prices per person, double occupancy, as of October 2026. Larger cabins and suites save even more.
And it comes off after Lindblad’s own promotions are applied — not instead of them.
Does National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Offer a Military or Veteran Discount?
Lindblad Expeditions does not publish a standing military or veteran discount of its own.
What Lindblad does run is a rotating set of promotions — air credits on select voyages, reduced solo supplements, back-to-back savings, and family, group and milestone offers.
Our 5% National Geographic-Lindblad military discount applies on top of them. You get Lindblad’s best available rate, then our discount comes off that.

The Expedition Experience: Naturalists and National Geographic Experts

Heading to the islands? Our Galápagos military cruise guide covers the wildlife, the best time to go, and how Lindblad compares with Celebrity and Silversea there.
For more than 20 years, National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions have worked together to take curious travelers to the planet’s wild places — more than 100 expeditions in over 70 countries, on all seven continents. Lindblad itself has more than 50 years of expedition experience.
This is not a port-to-port cruise. Every day is built around getting off the ship and into the place:
- Expert expedition teams — veteran naturalists, cultural specialists and certified photo instructors on every voyage
- National Geographic Experts — photographers, scientists, historians and storytellers join select expeditions for presentations and conversation
- A National Geographic photographer on board National Geographic Endurance, Resolution, Explorer and Orion
- Exploration tools — Zodiacs, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, glass-bottom boats and snorkeling gear
- Activities for every pace — from easy walks and Zodiac cruises to hikes, kayaking and snorkeling
The Ships

The National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions fleet is the largest and most varied in expedition cruising — small ships, each built or chosen for the places it explores. None carries more than about 150 guests, so landings are quick and you’re never part of a crowd.

- Ocean expedition ships — National Geographic Orion (102 guests) for the South Pacific, the Mediterranean and Antarctica
- Ships of the Americas — National Geographic Quest and National Geographic Venture (100 guests each) for Alaska, Baja California, the Pacific Northwest and Costa Rica
- Galápagos — National Geographic Endeavour II (96 guests), Islander II and Gemini (48 guests each), and the 16-guest catamaran National Geographic Delfina

- Under sail and by yacht — the tall ship Sea Cloud II (88 guests) and the 28-guest explorer yacht Aqua Blu in Indonesia
Cabins and Suites

Cabins vary by ship, from comfortable outside cabins on the small coastal and river ships to larger cabins and suites on the newer polar ships.

- Balcony cabins — on select ships, including National Geographic Gemini
- Suites — with Suite Amenities such as complimentary laundry in the top categories

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Military Discount FAQ
How much is the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions military discount?
5% off the cruise fare on every National Geographic-Lindblad expedition, with no blackout dates. It is applied after Lindblad’s own promotions, so it stacks with current offers like the up-to-$2,000 per person air credit on select 2027 and 2028 voyages.
Does Lindblad Expeditions have a military discount?
Not one of their own. Our 5% Military Cruise Deals discount is the military discount on National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions, and it applies to every voyage across the fleet — from Galápagos and Alaska to Antarctica and the Arctic.
Can I combine the military discount with Lindblad’s special offers?
Yes. Lindblad’s offers generally can’t be combined with each other, but our 5% is our discount, not theirs — it comes off after their promotion is applied, so you keep the air credit or solo savings and get our discount too.
Do I need to show proof of service?
Not at the time of booking. Just let us know you are active duty, retired, a veteran, or a military spouse when you book.
Does the discount apply to friends and family in other cabins?
Yes. Everyone traveling with you gets the discount, even if they are not in your cabin.
Is a National Geographic-Lindblad expedition all-inclusive?
Very nearly. Your fare includes your cabin, meals, beer, wine and cocktails aboard most ships, shore excursions and expedition activities as listed in the itinerary, Zodiacs, kayaks and snorkel gear, park and site fees, port taxes, basic Wi-Fi, and airport transfers within the recommended window. Airfare, travel protection and premium wines and spirits are extra, and crew gratuities are included only on some ships.
How much does a National Geographic-Lindblad expedition cost?
Eight-day Baja California and Alaska expeditions start around $5,200 to $6,000 per person, Galápagos starts around $6,400, and Antarctica starts around $11,900 to $12,250 per person.
I already booked directly with Lindblad. Can I still get the discount?
Yes — transfer your booking to us. You keep the same ship, cabin, booking number and rate, and we add the military discount.
