Disney Cruise Line offers its own special military rate on select sailings. In 2026, Disney’s advertised military rates commonly ranged from 25% to 35% off the eligible voyage fare.

But Disney’s rate has limits:

Who qualifies for Disney’s military cruise rate?

Disney defines an Eligible Service Member as active or retired U.S. military personnel, including active or retired members of the National Guard, Military Reserves, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. A qualifying spouse may use the offer without the service member present when the spouse can present a valid, active U.S. military dependent ID. The Eligible Service Member or qualifying spouse must sail in the discounted stateroom.

Does a DD Form 214 qualify for Disney’s rate?

No. A non-retired veteran does not qualify for Disney’s special military rate solely because of prior service or a DD Form 214.

Can a veteran still get a discount?

Yes. Military Cruise Deals’ own agency discount is available to veterans with a DD Form 214, even when Disney’s military rate does not apply, subject to the agency’s booking terms.

More than one cabin? Disney’s rule and our workaround are different

Disney’s military offer is limited to one stateroom per Eligible Service Member or qualifying spouse, per sailing. The eligible member or spouse must sail in that stateroom. Military Cruise Deals’ own discount can apply to additional cabins for friends and family traveling together, subject to the agency’s booking terms.
