On MSC, dining is ALWAYS on request and never guaranteed. Fantasica cabins get priority over Bella cabins but are still NOT guaranteed times. Buffets are always open at mealtimes if you do not want to eat at the time you were assigned.

Travel insurance gives you protection if you have to cancel after final payment due to illness, injury, death in the family, redeployment or revocation of leave and gives you medical coverage during the cruise. On MSC cruises, if you have a redeployment or revocation of leave, you can cancel up to 15 days prior to sailing and not lose money. Your money would apply towards a future MSC cruise!

Certain promotional rates have non-refundable deposits and some cruise lines like Costa even have penalties to cancel immediately after booking.
