Does Norwegian Cruise Line Have a Military Discount?
Yes! 10% off the cruise fare on every sailing — and up to 20% off on select sailings for active-duty members, veterans, spouses and surviving spouses (U.S. and Canadian forces). Verify your service at ncl.com/military, then give us the Latitudes Rewards number linked to your ID.me account. Norwegian applies this discount only to the stateroom with the military member or veteran in it.
Sometimes Norwegian’s maximum military discount (up to 20%) is NOT shown online. So just put your Norwegian cruise on a free hold, or pay a deposit, and we’ll research the discount amount and get it applied.
What is the Military Cruise Deals discount on Norwegian cruises?
For civilians, the Military Cruise Deals discount: a 5% discount from us, on top of Norwegian’s (on sailings with enough commission left to give it) — for every cabin in your group, friends and family included. You don’t need to prove the relationship. Norwegian’s discount does NOT apply to your friends and family — ours does!
No fees to book, change or cancel. Call us at 866-964-5482.

What is the Norwegian Cruise Line Military Discount program?
The NCL military discount program is 10% off the cruise fare on any Norwegian cruise.
It applies to active members, veterans, spouses, and surviving spouses of the following branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, and National Guard.
Also open to Canadian active Service Members, Veterans, and Dependents.
NCL requires you to verify your military status at www.ncl.com/military.
Then, you will get an NCL Latitudes Rewards number associated with your ID.me account. GIVE US THAT NUMBER when you call or email to book so we can get that discount applied to your Norwegian cruise.
That discount will only apply to the stateroom with the military member or veteran in it.
A 5% DISCOUNT – the discount from us at Military Cruise Deals, will apply to all cabins in your group – whether they be friends or family. You do not need to prove the relationship.
Who qualifies for the military and Veteran discounts on Norwegian cruises?
All active, and retired military, Veterans and any of their friends and family qualify FOR OUR MILITARY AND VETERAN DISCOUNT ON NORWEGIAN CRUISES.
However, the military appreciation discount will only apply to the cabin that contains the member of the military.
In order to get the best cruise deals / lowest prices on all Norwegian cruises, you’ll have to use the ‘Sailaway’ rate, which is far lower than all the other fare codes and will not include any of the “More at Sea’ packages.
Do we require proof of military service to get our military discount on Norwegian?
Norwegian requires that you provide verification of military service in order to qualify for the military appreciation fare.
We’ll assist you in this process if you are overseas and cannot get to www.ncl.com/military or you can try using a VPN.
That’s one of the big benefits of booking with us: we know exactly what military discount programs and procedures are offered by all cruise lines, and we’ll handle all the details for you and make sure it’s done correctly!
If our exclusive discount and perks are the only military benefits offered, we’re chill about making you show proof. Nobody is calling us except military and veterans anyway. 🙂

Norwegian ships also have large family suites that sleep up to SIX and have butler service, so someone else besides mom will be available to satisfy the kids’ every whim. How nice is that!
In fact, Norwegian offers the LARGEST SUITES AT SEA – would you believe, a 3-bedroom Garden Villa at 5750 square feet! Walking into the Garden Villa is like no other experience.
The living room is expansive and can hold up to 100 guests for a party. The baby grand piano has a player feature and the Bose sound system is incredible!
You actually have the choice of three areas that meals can be served the formal table in the living room, the informal table in the protected private courtyard, or the table up on the sun deck.
You have access to all the specialty restaurant menus that your butler will serve to you in one of the eating areas.
Take a look at what’s inside a Norwegian Cruise Liner
Please note: All water-slides have been removed from all ships except the Bliss, Jade, Breakaway, Getaway and Epic.
The specialty restaurants are so affordable, most just from $15 to $25 per person. But if you’re ready to splurge and make your cruise a true culinary experience there are more expensive specialty options – including a Chef’s Table. We’re all over that! Of course, your cruise fare includes all meals at the main restaurant, buffets and 24-hour room service.
And children eat for less! Children 3 years and younger eat for FREE in the specialty restaurants, while children 4-12 can choose from a complimentary Kids’ Menu or from the restaurant’s Specialty Kids’ Menu for half price!
Need a midnight or 3 a.m. snack? No problem. Complimentary room service is available around the clock and all but two Norwegian ships have a complimentary 24-hour eatery where you can eat in-house so as not to bother your roommates.
Cabins for 1
Many Norwegian ships have cabins custom-designed for a single cruiser, which includes access to their own private Studio Lounge, where they can meet and mingle with other Studio dwellers.
Bowling on board! Now they’ve really thought of everything. We had come to expect waterslides and zip lines on cruise ships – but, a bowling alley?! Even better, at night the game is for adults only!
Comprehensive Onboard Golf Academy includes onboard private or group lessons, complimentary golf clinics for every skill level, access to the V1 Digital Coaching system, priority debarkation and VIP access to the top golf courses in almost every port, round-trip transportation to the course, and more.
For ten years running, Norwegian has been named “Best Cruise Line Casino” by readers of Casino Player and Porthole Magazines, with slots, table games and live poker tables and poker tournaments.

How do I verify my military service with Norwegian?
Verify your status at www.ncl.com/military through ID.me. You’ll get an NCL Latitudes Rewards number linked to your ID.me account — give us that number when you book so we can apply Norwegian’s 10% discount. If you’re overseas and can’t reach the site, we’ll help you.
Does the Norwegian military discount apply to my friends and family?

Is there a military discount on Norwegian Sky?
No. Norwegian Sky’s rates are so low that there isn’t enough commission for us to give a discount, so you can book Sky sailings directly on our website.

Yes. Book 6 or more staterooms to get Norwegian’s group discount (up to 15% off) and group perks. Military and veterans who book a group with us get our military discount and the best available perks on all cabins in the group.
