We offer a military and veteran discount on every single Disney cruise. Our discount applies to all active, retired military, veterans, their spouses and any other family and friends traveling with them. All cabins will get our military and veteran discount as long as there is just one military member, veteran or spouse in the group.
All About the Disney Cruise Military and Veteran Discount
Disney often offers substantial military discounts on sailings with sail dates less than three months away. But their military discounts appear or go away daily, based on availability.
But even if Disney is not offering a military discount of their own, any military personnel, veteran or dependent who books a Disney cruise with Military Cruise Deals qualifies for our discount.
How to book your cruise with a Military Discount
You may book directly here on our site, as our system is configured to pull in Disney’s low military rate, AND our discount to calculate the lowest possible price for you.
As long as you have the ‘military’ box checked on our booking page, if there is a special low rate offered for military, it will be displayed to you and you can book your cruise on our site at that low rate.
However, after you have booked, Disney will require you to provide evidence of your active or retired military status. After you have booked, you’ll get an email from us explaining how to do that.
Disney cruise ships only have a few cabins for five, and those are usually not included as one of the cabin types available to book at the discounted military rate.
Disney will also only give their discount to the one cabin with the military member and their children if they are under age 18 and there is not one single cabin that can accommodate the entire family.
Remember, even if no military discount is offered by Disney, we will apply our military discount to all cabins in your group, even if you have multiple cabins with friends and family.
Who qualifies for Disney’s military discount?
Special Military rates are available to all retired and active U.S. Military personnel (or spouse), including U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Department of Defense personnel.
Active and retired members (or spouse) of the U.S. military must provide valid identification at the time of check-in.
This offer is limited to a maximum of 1 stateroom per military member (or spouse), per sailing.
A U.S. Military service member (or spouse) is required to sail to take advantage of this offer.
Activated members (or spouse) of the U.S. National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve must also show active duty orders (must be dated as of January 1st of the previous year to qualify).

Search All Disney Cruises and Enjoy the Magic of Discounted Military Rates
The links above will open a cruise search form that already has the “MILITARY” option selected – so all prices shown will reflect Disney’s military discount.
From there, you can modify any of the search terms, such as destination, dates you’d like to cruise, departure port, cruise line and more, and the prices on those new results shown will still reflect any military rate offered by Disney.
Proof of Eligibility
Proof of Military ID is required to take advantage of Disney’s Military Discounts. Your eligibility must be verified at the time of boarding. Verification documents include one of the following:
- Copy of Enlistment Papers and a Photo ID
- Photocopy of Military ID

The Dream is one of Disney’s newest ships. Built in 2011, it is over 1000 feet long and holds 4000 passengers. This Disney ship smartly offers enough adult-only areas for adults to get a kid-free reprieve when needed: two adults-only restaurants and one adults-only lounge and one adults-only pool!
The Dream offers 3 day and 4-day cruises to Nassau and Castaway Cay from Port Canaveral – perfect for the family who only has time for a short trip!
Built in 2012, the Fantasy is Disney’s newest ship of all and shares many of the same features as the Dream. The Concierge Royal suite and Concierge 1-bedroom suite have TWO BATHROOMS to make cabin sharing with your family as easy as possible! Many rooms sleep up to five, so most families can fit into one cabin. Like the Dream, the Fantasy has many adult-only areas. The Disney Fantasy departs out of Port Canaveral, Florida, alternating 7-night cruises to the Western Caribbean or the Eastern Caribbean.
Disney is the go-to for cruising families. They have many cabins for 5, beautiful shows, and meet-and-greets with classic characters!

How can you save you money even AFTER your cruise is booked and paid for?
Imagine if your travel agent called you and said, “I’ve been keeping an eye on your cruise. This morning the cruise line lowered the price of your cabin category by $200 per person, and I was able to refare it to that new lower rate. So, I just wanted to let you know that your balance due is now $400 less! That’s all. Have a nice day.”
Or, “I checked on your cruise status today and there was a free-upgrade offer available, so I can get you moved up from deck 6 to deck 10 if you’d like?” Or an ocean view cabin up to a balcony for free! Things like this happen often and we are happy to help look for opportunities like that for you!
We make phone calls like that on a regular basis, because even after our clients book with us, we STILL are on the lookout for ways they can get more and pay less.
Between the time you book your cruise and your cruise sails, we monitor the cruise line’s rate, and if we notice that it becomes less than what you paid, we contact the cruise line and request that they refare your cruise to the new lower rate, upgrade you to a higher category, or provide an onboard credit for the difference. If you notice before we do, call us!
