Who qualifies for the military and Veteran discounts on Norwegian cruises?

All active, and retired military, Veterans and any of their friends and family qualify FOR OUR MILITARY AND VETERAN DISCOUNT ON NORWEGIAN CRUISES.

However, the military appreciation discount will only apply to the cabin that contains the member of the military.

Norwegian for kids!

Norwegian cruise line is a fun choice for adventurous kids who take full advantage of their water slides, dance parties, and ropes course.

Children’s Entourage and Splash Academy is free and is organized into five distinct age categories:

Entourage: Teens,

Dolphins: 10-12 years old,

Seals: 6-9 years old,

Turtles: 3-5 years old,

and Guppies: 6 months- 3 years old.

Note: While Norwegian does not offer babysitting service, the kids clubs will remain open for kids 3-12 every night from 10:30-1:30 am, as well as on port days when the ship is docked. There are fees.

The Norwegian Escape has group babysitting for babies (at least one-year-old on Royal Caribbean) that costs money and is based on availability.

A new cabin category called a Family Balcony is located near the kids’ area of the ship, includes a king-sized bed for the parents and two single births for kids. These balcony cabins are almost 25% wider than the industry standard and there are many connecting staterooms.

These promotions can be confusing. Below we’ve tried to clarify exactly what Norwegian’s promos offer.

Free at Sea has become MORE AT SEA – and it’s better!

• unlimited beverage package
• specialty dining (the number of meals is based on your cabin type and cruise length)
• wifi package
• shore excursion credit
• 3rd and 4th passenger free or reduced
• free air for the second passenger

Guarantee cabins get you the choice of an inside, ocean view or balcony cabin, but the exact cabin number will be assigned by the cruise line on the day of sailing with whatever rooms are still available. However, you are at guaranteed to get the category of cabin you choose, or better.

Wifi in the Cabin

Each cabin will receive one login, valid for a certain number of minutes depending on the length of the cruise:

• 75 minutes per guest for 3-6 night cruises
• 150 minutes per guest for cruises of 7+ nights.

The Internet package is not available at Great Stirrup Cay or Harvest Caye.

Shore excursion credit

Each cabin will receive a $50 credit per port for shore excursions booked with Norwegian. This credit is non-transferable and nonrefundable.

Gratuities for beverage and dining packages ARE NOT FREE

If you choose the free beverage package and the specialty dining package there are gratuities that apply to each of these perks and you’ll be charged these gratuities at the time of booking!

The gratuities are $10 per person per meal for the Specialty Dining package and $30 per person per day for the beverage package for cruises of 1-7 nights; $27 for cruises of 8-11 nights, and $23 for cruises of 12 nights or more.

If you get the Specialty Dining Package the first two guests will receive a number of meals at the specialty restaurants on the ship, depending on the length of the cruise. All food in the buffet and main dining room is already included. This specialty dining package is just for extra special meals at the specialty restaurants.

Cruise Service Gratuities

These gratuities are for the room steward and dining room waiters. They are different from the gratuities for the dining and beverage packages and are charged to your account at the end of the cruise.

What is the deposit schedule for military and veterans groups on a Norwegian group cruise? When is money due and how much?

Norwegian groups have the same deposit as non-groups. So they get whatever the current promotional deposit is. Then, $50 per cabin deposit is due within 60 days of blocking the space. Once the names are put on the booking, this deposit is due within 7 days of the names being added.
