How to Get Military and Veteran Discounts on Oceania Cruise Line

Oceania does not offer military and veteran discounts directly.

However, we will always add a military and veteran discount to the lowest rate offered by Oceania for any of their sailings, so our rate will always be lower than Oceania’s lowest rate.

This discount is not reflected in the prices shown on our Military Cruise Deals website. Be sure to call us to book your Oceania cruise so we can apply the extra discount at the time of booking: 866-964-5482. Or request a quote for a specific cruise at www.holdmycruise.com.

Not able to call right now? Contact us — there are many ways to get in touch!

In addition, our discount often includes prepaid gratuities, onboard credits, and 50% off travel insurance.

Why We Love Oceania Cruises

We hate to play favorites, but Oceania is at the very top of our favorite cruise line list. If you’re a cruise connoisseur who has been on many cruises — even the most luxurious lines — you’ll really appreciate Oceania. It’s large enough to be lively but small enough to feel exclusive. Once our clients try Oceania, they usually stick with Oceania thereafter.

The cruise cabins are an average 50% larger than other cruise lines, and the food is the best in the entire cruise industry.

Oceania is a relaxed luxury cruise line with mid-sized ships that do mostly longer voyages from 10 to 24 days.

Although it is not all-inclusive like the most expensive cruise lines (Silversea, Seabourn, SeaDream, and Crystal), it sits at the very top of the non-inclusive category.

Oceania cruise destinations worldwide — military discount cruises with Military Cruise Deals
Oceania cruise destinations cover the globe, including Africa, Asia, Alaska, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America, the Amazon, the South Pacific, and Tahiti.

What Does Your Oceania Cruise Include?

Although the price of your Oceania cruise does not include alcohol, Oceania’s rates do include free and unlimited soft drinks, bottled water, cappuccino, espresso, tea, and juices. A premium drink package that includes beer, wine, and top-shelf spirits can be purchased for $59.95 per person per day — far less than the $90 per person per day charged by most cruise lines.

Oceania Cruise Line dining experience — fine cuisine at sea
Oceania is a foodie cruise line.

Oceania Is Known as a Food and Wine Connoisseurs’ Cruise Line

Its executive culinary director is the renowned master chef Jacques Pépin. Oceania’s culinary goal is serving cuisine that is the finest at sea and rivals the best restaurants ashore — a standard we feel they have genuinely achieved. We always direct our pickiest foodie clients to an Oceania cruise.

Marina and Riviera were purpose-built for epicureans and each offer over 10 dining venues — more than any other premium or luxury vessel sailing today.

Oceania’s grand dining rooms are evocative of Europe’s grandest hotels, with tuxedo-clad wait staff graciously serving course after course.

Oceania’s Cruise Ships: Sirena, Riviera, Marina, Regatta, Nautica, and Insignia

Oceania’s two newest ships are called “O Class”: the Riviera (built 2012) and the Marina (built 2011). Both are 66,000 tons and hold 1,200 passengers. Nearly all 600 cabins are balcony cabins. The Marina was named “2011 Ship of the Year” by Ocean and Cruise News magazine.

While the Regatta and Nautica are mid- to small-sized ships, they still offer all the amenities of a large ship: four open-seating restaurants, bars, lounges, an internet center, casino, outdoor pool, fitness center, jogging track, beauty salon, and a full-service Canyon Ranch spa.

The Sirena, a sister ship to the Regatta and Nautica, was refurbished and added to the fleet in 2017. All cabins on the Sirena include Ultra Tranquility Beds featuring:

  • Custom-designed mattress with 3,000 encapsulated micro-springs for a peaceful night’s sleep
  • Quilted silver-threaded fabric and specially designed thermo-fiber for luxurious comfort
  • Plush down comforter
  • Hand-quilted throws

Oceania’s Cooking School at Sea and Culinary Enrichment Program

Established in partnership with Bon Appétit magazine, the culinary centers aboard Marina and Riviera are the only cooking schools at sea. Catering to all skill levels from beginner to master chef, the Bon Appétit Culinary Centers feature 24 fully equipped professional workstations where guests gain hands-on cooking experience in innovative classes.

Breathtaking views from the Riviera and Marina Oceania cruise ships.

With the launch of Riviera in 2012, Oceania expanded its culinary enrichment program with Culinary Discovery Tours to more than 25 ports worldwide. These tours let guests explore local food markets in small groups side-by-side with an expert chef, ending with a hands-on cooking class highlighting regional specialties.

Oceania also partners with Wine Spectator magazine for La Reserve — an intimate venue seating only 24 on Marina and Riviera — that hosts wine tastings and food pairings with rare vintages selected by the magazine’s editors.

Oceania’s Staterooms

The 2,000-square-foot Owner’s Suites are completely furnished with selections from the Ralph Lauren Home collection. All concierge suites include walk-in closets, marble and granite bathrooms, spacious seating areas, writing desks, bathtubs and rainfall showers, flat-screen televisions, wireless laptops, iPads, and Bulgari toiletries.

70% of staterooms include private teak verandas and are the largest balcony cabins at sea at 282 square feet — versus the industry average of 178. Even Oceania’s ocean view cabins are larger than most cruise lines’ balcony cabins at 242 square feet.

Inside cabins at 174 square feet still include a large bathroom, tranquility bed, 700-thread-count linens, a refrigerated mini-bar with free and unlimited soft drinks and bottled water replenished daily, free 24-hour room service, flat-screen TV, thick cotton robes and slippers, chocolates with nightly turndown service, a security safe, and more.

Butler Service in All Oceania Suites Includes:
